about charter house bank

Life has taught me not to take things at face value. To always delve deeper and search for the intricate details that give me the ultimate truth. I believe in justice to always give the benefit of doubt to what I haven’t researched in and for the longest time the saga on charter house bank has been very intriguing.
What I find more intriguing is the recent case where all the personalities who in 2006 who declared that charter house bank were guilty now claiming that charter house bank is innocent and can fully resume its operations. This includes the K.R.A commissioner general Michael waweru and KACC assistant director John Mutonyi who said that they had no issues with the bank.
Four years ago the charter house bank hit the headlines it was accused of violating many banking rules, first it was accused not knowing its customers well Something which all banks don’t  know. It was also accused of tax evasion which in this case it was its clients who evaded paying the taxes. Nakumatt which is way bigger than its competitor uchumui used to pay ten times less than uchumi. The question to me is then why is nakumatt still in operation? It was also accused of money laundering something which by then was not a crime according to our constitution.
I don’t know about you but I am more that convinced that someone wanted charter house bank to be closed for a reason and the fact that Michael Ranneberger is so much against its reopening makes it even more intriguing.
